The Laboratory develops absorptive methods of agrolandscape detoxication. New sorption composites for the prevention of heavy metals accumulation and infected soils rehabilitation were patented. The up-to-date research area is phytobioremediation of soils, subjected to physical degradation and salinization, by growing sorghum crops. Advanced research: practical techniques development based on the optimization of microbal cenosis, maintaining homeostasis in many characteristics; on screening of native bacterial and fungic strains, in the first place, Glomus and PGPR Pseudomonas generations; on the development of the biological criteria for early detection of soil properties unfavourarable changes progress.
