The Laboratory studies intra-and interspecific chemical communication mechanisms among Arthropoda as well as injurious species bioregulation processes based on their reproduction malfunction.
It also studies producing organs ultrastructure morphology, chemoreception and identification of pheromones and other pest chemical communication substances. It develops new synthesis methods of pheromones, cairomones and other signal matters; pheromone formulations, traps construction and methods of their practical application to monitor and regulate injurious insects and mites abundance, entomophage activation and reproduction technologies.
