The Laboratory conducts fundamental and applied research of toxin production mechanisms in the populations of toxigenic fungi, evolution factors and distribution of dangerous mycotoxin strains-superproducers in agrosystems. It develops biopreparations, their production and application technology based on screening study and natural bioagents selection, for crop and fruit protection against toxigenic fungi and mycotoxin formation in agricultural food. The patents for 3 new biopreparations were developed. It conducts selection and tests of crop cultivars with grain, resistant to mold contamination and minimizing mycotoxins accumulation in stored grain for domestic use and for export.
